Although often associated with Punjab, some high-quality Anwar Ratol mangoes are also grown in parts of Sindh. They are known for their small size and extraordinary taste. This variety is cherished for its rich, honey-like sweetness and intense aroma, often making it a favorite among mango lovers despite its smaller size compared to other varieties. The skin is thin and yellow when ripe, while the pulp is smooth, fiberless, and incredibly juicy. Anwar Ratol mangoes are typically available from late May to early July, with the early harvest offering a slightly firmer texture and the later season providing a melt-in-the-mouth experience.
